Another well-known type of raisin in Iran is the green raisin. To prepare this type, a cold emulsion is used, which is a mixture of potassium carbonate and edible oil. In this process, the grapes are immersed in the solution for about 30 seconds and then hung to dry completely. Green raisins, also known as snack raisins, are among the most popular raisins for export.
